The felt surface grabs and holds your area rug, smoothing it out. It prevents bunching, creeping, and curling at corners. The dense felt core helps soften the rug feel as you walk across it, also preventing floor damage. The grooved, natural rubber backing grabs the floor and prevents rug movement.

Our signature natural rubber backing is 12 ounces of thickness, and is reinforced with an additional 5 ounces/square yard of heat-pressed natural rubber face coat. This second coating reinforces non-skid properties while preventing premature flaking and deterioration, that is common to the low-cost latex pads. This type of padding is not sold at big box stores, but is preferred by rug cleaners and rug crafters. It preserves your rug for longer!
